Does a synchronized state need to understand influence, not just activity?

I’ve been thinking about resilience as SP scales.

two societies could have the same number of Actors and similar levels of activity, but very different risk depending on how influence is distributed between those Actors.

If a small number of Actors, organizations, or relationships become highly influential, harmful behavior could potentially propagate much further even when most Actors remain healthy participants.

This makes me wonder whether Activity Score alone can capture enough about the health of a society.

Should a Synchronized State also be able to represent the evolving structure of influence and dependency between Actors?

And if so, should that information affect Value Functions such as Hunting or Governance or should influence remain completely separate from those mechanisms?

I’m interested in where SP currently draws that line.

Sure, I mean if you propose some features…I can analyze them (as far as game-theoretics)…

I’m constantly discovering new things while architecting it, like for example the Activity Score itself can be used for various things…it’s not a VF itself; it can theoretically affect other VFs and aspects outside of Hunting. (It’s just easy to imbalance the system that way…it’s important to think of what happens as it loops through time.)

Activity Score itself doesn’t imbalance or make it centralized (if implemented well, it does the opposite…decentralize…as one entity can only contribute so much valuable activity (attention is limited).

Another note: Activity Score alone isn’t enough to measure the health of a society fully, but a SP instance with activity happening (whether that’s a scam or not, is being found valuable by someone)…so, it’s not perfect probably, but it’s a good base metric.

Other mechanisms can be layered.

Measuring the types of Property created, the types of Curation, the concentration of Energy, the history of Actor’s accounts and how they’re contributing value and what they think, Organizations and what they do…is already public state and layered on top of Activity Scores for analyzing the health of SP instances.
